Many apologies for the extensive delay this year in sending out the latest edition of Nekhen News. But here it is at long last! You will be receiving your copy shortly in the post if you are a donor.

Amongst other things, we were waiting for new from Egypt about the status of our application to continue our work. And as detailed in the attachment, we got good news. We will be permitted to resume excavations at HK6 and of course, we are very excited to get back into the dirt. We now await security clearance, but hope to be back at site in November.

Other news of note: Please be aware of the following:

1) The Paypal link on our webpage (www.hierakonpolis-online.org) is now fully functional again (Hurray!). If you wish to renew your membership in that manner, please feel free to do so.

2) Our mailing address has changed. For snail mail, please now use (but nothing else has changed)
